Do I need a huge area to fire my fireworks in?AnswerNot necessarily though the bigger the better. Once again the most important consideration is one of safety. Our safety guide contains a diagram that sets out the necessary safety distances required. Spectators must never be within 25 metres of the display area and this limit should be roped or taped off. A distance of 35 metres is desirable. There must also be a fallout area to the rear of the firing area, for items such as rocket sticks and other small debris items. This area should be a minimum of 50 metres deep. Once again 75–100 metres is preferable. There should be no power lines or overhanging trees in the vicinity. |
