Who can enter this competition?
This competition is open to all. However we feel only our past & present customers would want to recommend us AND to make this competition fair, The Fireworks Firm Ltd have decided that NO FULL TIME staff member or family members of The Fireworks Firm Ltd, will be allowed to enter, giving everyone else a fairer chance. Why a referral competition?
We wanted a competition which was not just a skill based game or a raffle and not even as a lottery. After asking just a few of our customers, we realised, it had been staring us in the face. We decided to use the referral system to reward one of our most loyal & valued customer an experience of a lifetime. Over the last 18 years, most of our business has been through “word of mouth” and after hearing from so many of our clients about how brilliant it would be to see fireworks being made in China, we decided this was the way forward.
How do I enter for the “Dream Trip”?
1st part is to win a DREAM TICKET.
Each month, the person who provides us with referral(s) and then accumulates the largest confirmed sale(s) will be awarded a DREAM TICKET. This can come from either a professional display, mail-order or retail sale. You could provide us with just one referral for £1,000 or 10 smaller sales referral for £100, or a combination of big & small referrals - the choice is yours!
2nd part is to be 1 of 12 people to hold a DREAM TICKET. If you are able to spend a few minutes and network with your friends & colleagues, by the end of the month you may have gathered some referrals which will increase your chances of winning the DREAM TICKET. The winner of the competition will be determined on 14th April 2010 at midday at our head office. A draw will take place to pluck one lucky person’s name out of the draw, who will be given the chance to travel with us to China. What happens if 2 or more people have the same sales value at the end of a month?
The Fireworks Firm Ltd have decided if 2 or more people have the same sales value at the end of any month, we shall than look back at the previous months sales for those people involved & whoever has the highest sales value will win the DREAM TICKET. If there is no difference, we shall use a lottery draw for those people involved, a final decision will be made by The Fireworks Firm Ltd. If I choose the £2,000 firework display, what are my options?
We can give you options of different types of DIY display packs. This could be 4 x £500 or 2 x £1,000 DIY - the choice is yours! If you wish us to fire your display, we will have to charge for Firers fees, Public Liability Insurance & any travelling expense, please call our customer service team on +44 20 8896 2866.

What counts as a successful referral?
A successful referral counts if:

A referral is for the period between 1st April 2009–31st March 2010.

We have not already received this referral/sale from other sources. (i.e. must be a new referral).

Nobody else has already claimed the referral.

You refer your own future firework display between 1st April 2009 – 31st March 2010.

Full payment & “Booking Form“ have been received for professional displays.

Full payment has been made ON-LINE or in the RETAIL STORE.
AND if there is any confusion about a referral, a final decision will be made by the Managing Director, Freddie Leihal.
What counts as a failed referral?
A failed referral is if:
• The referral is for an enquiry beyond 1st April 2010, we hope to organise another VIP competition to China, so all is NOT lost!
• We receive an enquiry, but later on the sale is cancelled, for whatever reason, then this will be seen as a failed referral and will not count towards the DREAM TICKET.
How much is it to enter?
This is a free competition, so what have you got to lose!
Will I get an acknowledgment of my referral?
Yes. You will immediately be emailed of the referral upon receipt of a deposit and a “Booking Form”, or when any On-line & Retail sale payment has been made.
Are there any special ways to win more DREAM TICKETS?
YES, but much depends upon how much effort you are willing to put into this competition, this is a decision only you can make. Remember your network includes family members, friends, friends of friends, work colleagues, organisations, including schools, clubs, etc.
What can I win?
The winner will get to choose from a VIP trip to China or a £2,000 firework display pack.
When do the DREAM TICKET competitions start & finish?
The 1st DREAM TICKET will start on 1st April 2009 and end on 30thApril. The 2nd DREAM TICKET will start on 1st May and ends at the 31st May. This will be repeated for the next 10 months, with the last DREAM TICKET offered at the end of March 2010. This means we are the only company to give away a DREAM TICKET to one lucky person every single month.
When are the results announced for each DREAM TICKET?
Results are usually announced approximately 7 days after EACH MONTH.
How will I know if I win the DREAM TICKET?
Our Managing Director, Freddie Leihal, will personally call if you are the lucky winner of one of our DREAM TICKETS. As part of our ongoing customer service, we will email you the results if you do not win. We also display the results and details of the winner EACH MONTH on our website.
Can I take with me my partner or friends on this trip?
YES. We are also selling tickets for £1,999.99, however places are limited. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us.
How many winners have there been?
We are proud to say we are the 1st firework company in the UK to have dreamed up this competition so to date no company has offered this exclusive trip to their customers.
How will the competition for the “Dream Trip” be judged?
The draw for “Dream Trip” will be judged using a VIP guest (current football player of the ENGLAND FOOTBALL Squad – TBC) and witnessed by a solicitor from a UK law firm as well as representatives from The Fireworks Firm Ltd. If you are not one of the 12 DREAM TICKET holders and do not attend the date of the draw, our Managing Director, Freddie Leihal will personally call if you are the lucky winner of DREAM TRIP.
I live abroad so what happens if I win the prize?
The Fireworks Firm Ltd will hold the prize for the winner's until they advise us of what they would like. If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us.
